I live in a mid-sized town, out in the country side. It isa very pleasant place, very friendly community. We have been living there for many years now. There are many residential zones around the downtown core. Thedowntown is only about twenty minutes from the zone that we are living. Quite a convenient zone.

So, I have been going to work in the downtown core riding a scooter. Very easy and convenient for me to move around by a scooter. With the traffic along the way fairly light, I have been quite happy using a scooter.

However, for going to places out of town, a car is a necessity. So far, I have to take a bus or the train to visit places out of town, since I don't have the driver's licence to drive a car. It is becoming a necessity. I should start working for the driver's licence.

The first thing to do is to attend classes at a driving school. That would be the best way to start to have a thorough knowledge and training for driving in town and over the highways. There are a few driving schools in town. I should go to the school specializing for women learners. There is a driving school for women close by from where I am living. It would just be excellent to attend driving classes there. As usual, I could go there riding my favorite scooter. It would just be five minutes ride. So, that is a driving school of my choice.

I shall be registering at that school soon. With the full time job taking all the hours in the day time, I have to register for the evening classes.From what I have heard, there are many on the waiting list for the evening classes. Well, there is no other choice. I just have to register and wait for the turn.

There is a driving school of the same rating as the one near my house. The evening classes at that school are also fully booked for the next couple of months.

While waiting for my turn to get a seat there at one of the evening classes, I will, on my own, start studying the theoretical aspect of driving. That would be helpful when I attend the class at the driving school too. It is also possible to take the theory test online, I am told. That would be a good start for me.
