I still remember the days, many years back, I went through in trying to get my driver's licence. It was very stressful and tiring all the time. But, I had to do it any way, just like others had done. So, no complaint ! Just a way of life.

I was riding a motorbike before that. It was quite convenient to move about in the City riding a motorbike. In fact I quite enjoyed that. But, when I had to travel out of town, a motorbike was not that convenient. Besides, when the weather got stormy, it was not safe at all riding a motorbike along a highway.

It started with taking a driving lesson at a driving school. There were many schools in the City offering the driving lesson. Some of the schools had been there for over thirty years, if I remembered correctly. There were new-comers too to serve the increasing demand of driving schools with the increase in the population in and around the City.

The driving school I went to was an excellent one too. It had been there for many years, and the instructors, theory and practical, were very experienced people. Some of them had been there since the time the school was founded.

The instructor of our class was also a very experienced person. He had led learners of different ages and cultural backgrounds. Some of the learners were originally from foreign countries, and had some difficulty with the English language. The instructor was very patient and managed well in getting the messages across to them. He gave them extra attention to make sure that they understood what was being taught.

One feature the driving school had was the use of computer to learn the theory related to driving under different circumstances. One excellent feature presented online was about the road signs one would see on the streets in the City and those along the highways. That was well designed and wasan excellent presentation of the driving lesson.

It was also possible to take online test for the theory part. That was am excellent way of learning about the various theoretical aspects of driving. So, the learners were well acquainted with what to expect when going for the real theory test.

We all passed the theory test without any difficulty at all. And, most of us passed the practical driving test at the very first time too.

It all proved that the driving lesson offered by that school was well up to the mark required by the City and the Province.
