Billy recently turned 17 recently and is already driving a van that his father used to own. He was able to find a good driving school that ran excellent automatic driving lessons. The name of the school was Denny's Automatic Driving Lessons. In the driving school, Billy learned a lot on driving. Classes included hands-on courses and studying classes on various subjects about cars and driving.

Billy took his dad's old van because he was unable to afford a new car. He also optioned to take the van because it was still running well and had a well vintage look on it. One of the flaws about the van was that it was a stick drive, which Billy did not prefer. He had told his parents numerous times that he did not feel safe driving stick drive. But the continuous response from his parents was that he should be able to since he took the automatic driving lessons.

During the summer break, school was out and the weather was very nice and sunny. Billy decided to take a road trip towards the west coast, where he had some old friends. He gathered all his luggage and hit the road in the morning. Billy thought that the trip was going to be extremely long and boring so he brought along his younger brother, Franklyn.

But he soon realized that bringing Franklyn was a bad idea. He would nag for hours from being bored as well. They had a few rest stops on the way but because of low budget, they were unable to afford a hotel room, so they had to stop and sleep in the van. Another plus about the van was the spacious rear, where they could rest smoothly.

It took about a whole twenty four hours to reach their destination. But it was worth the hours because Billy finally got to see his friends and hanged out for a few days along with Franklyn. But there came to time to return home. Billy and Franklyn were very unhappy with the fact that they had to spend another twenty four hours on the road with each other. Then one of Billy's friends decided they wanted to visit Billy's home town and ride back home with them.

They were delighted to have another person accompany them in their ride. Then they got back home safe and satisfied. Franklyn soon decided that he would be taking automatic driving lessons as well and take long road trips with his brother. This way they can both switch turns to drive.
